HX9v battery

just got the hx9v from bb after cqncel my order from sonystyle.
however my two old batteries from the hx5v do not work in my new hx9v.
it will power up the camera , but after 3 seconds, camera would say incompatible battery then shut down.
i did not know sony lock battery.
does anyone know about it?
My two batteries are db-bg1 and et-fg1 , they both work perfectly in hx5v.they both have the G mark on batteries.
can anyone provide some insight?
