ISO 800+raw+great lens at F4+tripod=pure pleasure

Indoors at 1/5th of a second on tripod allows a bit of depth of field at F4. Reminds me that ISO 800 raw files from the Nex need no noise reduction, for photos displayed at reasonable size, say 8x10 inches/20x25cm.
Nex easily-magnified-7x manual focusing so wonderful. Huge deep lens hood (there was a potentially glare-producing chandelier full of light bulbs just above the subject), simple 100-gram 45mm enlarger lens, and taking photo of Lastolite 12 inch white card (for color balance reference) just before this image also helpful. To get the skin tones and cloth colors exactly right with 5 seconds of post-processing work.
