My last roll of film!

Recently, I was very surprised to find a roll of Fujichrome ISO 100 in a forgotten box, in a hidden corner of my refrigerator, that was at least 10/15 years old. I automatically threw it in the garbage can; then, I remembered those few in this forum who lately have been shooting films; and I decided to give a try, too!

I used my old Nikon F2 with the wonderful manual Nikkor 85mm F/1.8 lens.

The hardest part for me was to remember I was not shooting on a memory card but I was limited to only 36 frames!

When I scanned the slides with a very average flatbed Epson scanner, I was blown away by the richness of tones and colors! True that digital is very convenient and very practical, but it still can’t replace the film for sure!... Here are a few samples:
