I got both Minolta and Konika lens collection. Can't say lot about FD though. Minolta is bit heavier than the Konika but the Minolta Rokkors very well built like Tanks. Rokkors feels very nice in the hand and got better Aperture control rings.

So my preference...

28mm 3.5 Rokkor SG vs 18-55mm kit(winner) vs 28mm 3.5 Konica AR (2nd)

35mm 2.8 MD Rokkor(winner) vs 18-55mm kit vs Minolta MD Rokkor 35-70mm 3.5(2nd)

52mm 1.8 Konika AR (winner) vs Minolta MD 50mm 1.7 (2nd) vs 18-55mm kit (3rd) vs Minolta MD Rokkor 35-70mm 3.5

90mm f/4 Leica Elmar(winner) vs 100mm 2.8 Konika AR (close call 2nd) vs MC Rokkor 70-200mm 4.5

MC Rokkor 135mm 2.8 (winner) vs Konika AR 135mm 2.5 (close call 2nd) vs MC Rokkor 70-200mm 4.5

55-300mm 4.5 Raynox Polaris vs MC Rokkor 135 2.8 + Kenko MC7 Teleconverter (winner) @ 300mm

Fun thing with old lenses is you can sell them back to the same value on ebay most of the time. Minolta MD , Konika AR, Canon FD if you read some reviews and check some photos you can't go wrong.

I'm on look out for Rokkor 24mm 2.8, 21mm 2.8, 85mm 1.7, 100mm 2.5 which said to be very good...

This link is my Favorite lens guide to Rokkor Lenses.. Enjoy
