Canon G12/S95 Lensmate filter adapter to EX1 / TL500

Hi,

I've been looking for good alternatives for filter adapters for my EX1. I think so far I like the Kiwi adapter found on eBay the best, but I'd be really interested in preserving the compactness of the camera too.

Now, I'm not sure if Lensmate ever made those nifty quick-change adapters for the EX1, but began wondering: would the G12 or S95's adapter work on the EX1, or will there be vignetting (because EX1 has a wider angle)? I must say I don't even know the difference between the lenses' diameters (outer or inner), so I couldn't tell if this would work at all.

Does anybody have such an adapter and also the EX1 / TL500? Could you share your opinion - maybe even test it (if it doesn't ruin your adapter)?
