I shot a baptism with D700 and 70-200 VRII, and I was already at ISO 3200 - The light was so bad in the church that even with the 70-200, the camera is still struggling to the point where I wished I had a 1.4 prime instead. I would have been TOASTED if I only had the slow 70-300VR with me. The 70-200 VRII saved my butt from embarrassment.
