I'm happy with my new k-5...pics in replies

I got my new k-5 on Monday late and charged the battery while reading the manual. After reading the manual I see that it will take me quite some time to really get this camera down. I can work my k20d with my eyes closed, it will take me some time to get there with the k-5. There are so many options and parameters!

It feels great in my hand though and with the tendonitis I suffer with, I welcome it being lighter than the k20d. I have long fingers and the grip could be a bit deeper, but it is comfortable enough.

I felt kind of foolish the first time I took an image and went to review. I always turn off the automatic replay, prefering to hit the review button when I want to review. But wait, where is the button? LOL! I found it pretty quickly, but they moved it on me.

For my first day out with a new camera I shoot in jpeg at default settings to get a feel at baseline settings. I also shoot in P mode mostly. BUT I found myself in a challenging situation and I put the k-5 in TaV mode and figured I'd let the iso rip. I was honestly amazed at the results.

I'll post a few different shots in replies here.
