Canon 60D or T3i 1st DSLR

I am ready to make the leap from a PowerShot SX120IS to my first DSLR. I was ready to purchase the 60D w a 18-200mm IS lens then the T3i came out. Will the 60D be too advanced for me? What should I go with. Thanks in advance for everyone's words of wisdom.
