Comparison pic HX9v-ZS10

I hope I don't get my head chopped off for posting this in this forum too (posted in in the Pana forum) but I guess it's relevant for both:

I guess this will be interesting for many people.

To me it was a huge surprise. The last Pana was good, the one before stellar and the HX5v was a joke. When Sony upped the MP from 10 to 16 I thought it would be a smearing disaster but when I compared those samples as I always do- scrolling between 2 images at 100%- I consistently found the Sony to be sharper and less smeared. In only one photo I prefered the Pana.

I would say the ZS10 looks as could be expected, a bit like its predecessor but with the added MP. The Sony looks like a huge leap forward to me.
What do you guys think?
