Intrigued by NX system - worth waiting awhile?

I am intrigued by the NX system and the new lenses announced made me more so. I keep hearing/reading that the sensor in the NX10/11/100 are "old" and that Samsung is waiting to replace it with a much better sensor. As I shoot with an Olympus E-1, I'm very used to mediocre ISO results. Would I be disappointed with what the NX11 can offer? Thanks for any input you can give.
