Question about Photoshop and Lightroom
Mar 28, 2011
|
I've been using PS for many years and got Lightroom as part of my last upgrade to CS5. So far I'm finding Lightroom pretty redundant. It seems Lightroom is for making the workflow more efficient, but it doesn't seem to have any image processing capability that PS doesn't have. I have LR2.5 and understand LR3 has big improvements, such as NR, but is it better than CS5's NR, or do they use the same engine?
So my question is this: Apart from cataloging and workflow efficiency, does Lightroom bring anything to the table that PS doesn't?
