ColorMunki with iMac

Hi Maceees!!!
I'm on my second 27" iMac Quad Core and I'm ready to return it for a refund or change to a MBP + NEC monitor. The problem has been more audio/FW/music based and it's been driving me potty!!! :O( Anyway, I really love the iMac and might just stick with it.
I've just invested in a ColorMunki which has sat in it's box while I'm sorting my problems out. Has anyone used one on an Imac? Does it make musch of a difference?
Your thoughts and opinions are welcome.
