2 apps I've found indispensable for light photo editing and fixing are:

TouchRetouch HD ( http://iphotomania.com/index.html )

This app enables you to remove unwanted areas of a photo ie. there's a telephone pole messing up that nice landscape shot so with a simple swipe over the pole with your finger it's gone and the area replaced with the surrounding background.

It works incredibly well, here's an example fix of a nibbled mushroom - finger swipe - no nibble:-

Photo FX Ultra - by Tiffen ( http://www.tiffen.com/photofx_ultra_homepage.html )

This feels more like a light PhotoExpress app than Adobe's version with a huge selection of user customizable effects and editing features i.e. there's a total of 934 presets!! Check out the web link and under what's new for a full breakdown.
