You could use a yellow lens filter to get rid of the scattered high-frequency light, but you'll have to use custom white balance to get the colors right. A global contrast adjustment will also do wonders- the Clarity adjustment in Adobe Camera RAW is effective on haze, or you can apply an UnSharp Mask with amount= 20, radius= 60, and Threshold = 0.
