Q for 24-70 owners.

I'm on the verge of splashing out and purchasing a Canon 24-70f2.8 L. I know rumors are just that, rumors, but there seems to be quite a few getting around concerning a possible 24-70 II with IS coming out in the next few months. Costs and weight aside would you be in a hurry to upgrade or are you happy with the current model?
