Does Microfocus adjustment alter Live view focusing?

Mainly "no", but in one condition "yes"

Live View "Quick" focussing: the mirror flips up and the normal (phase-detection) AF is used, which is affected by micro-adjustment.

In "Face" and "Live" adjustment (I use the latter) micro-adjustment has no effect. It doesn't need to, as the focus is being judged by the image that's being projected onto the actual imaging sensor. Once it looks like it's in focus, then it really is in focus!
