A55 video? Brightness control?

Is there any way to control brightness when shooting video with the A55? (I know it doesn't have full manual controls in video) Example: what if you're shooting someone standing in front of a bright window, and the camera makes the person pitch black? Can you adjust, somehow, without having to reframe the shot?
