I recently ordered a 7-14mm lens and it is on its way to me. I was wondering if there are any 7-14mm lens owner that would like to post some of their best photos (using that lens) and possibly give me there thoughts on that lens. I hope I had made the right choice in getting one.

Thanks,

Khanh... I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be buying this lens this weekend. Interestingly, it wasn't on my high list of lenses to pick up this year. Having rented the 14-35mm f/2.0 & 35-100mm f/2.0 and finding both of them to be AMAZING lenses in themselves, I really wasn't even looking at the comparitively lower price and far wider angled 7-14mm f/4.0.

However, after looking at my portfolio of images and the types of shoots I do the most of... I found that the exotic (and it is an exotic lens) 7-14mm wound have a good place in my stable... having it come up for sale for only $1200 previously owned and barely used made it an even easier choice.

Having said that, I don't own the lens... yet. But, I have had to depend on the reviews and images of others to determine if I'll be having buyer's remorse over this later on.

Rest asured, it is money well spent. From what I've been able to find, it offers a higher quality build and wider image than any camera/lens combo out there less than $6,000. The lenses which are nearly as wide for crop sensor cameras have softer corners, more barrel distortion and vignetting. And the very high quality Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 even has more barrel distortion than the 7-14mm from Olympus... allbeit a full stop brighter.

But, here are a couple of reviews (with pictures) which can help a little to see what you might have bought into.
