NEX5 - firmware

Does the NEX5 offer the ability to receive firmware upgrades through the internet: perhaps USB?

And, if so, has Sony offered any thus far?

I guess I am wondering how far can this present camera go before a new NEX model will appear to replace it. I'd like to get several years from the NEX5 if that is possible and/or reasonable.
