[News] NX Future Briefing in NX11 Introduction Meeting

A Korean blogger went to a NX11 Introduction meeting.

NX future plan also introduced as well in the meeting.

• 1st Picture:

On Feb 17, 2011, at 7pm.
NX11 Introduction meeting was held for a closed user group and power bloggers.

• 2nd picture:

At 7 pm, the introduction began.

• 3rd picture:

The slide is the future NX body road map.

NX10 and NX11 is "Classic", NX100 is "Style" series. "Classic +" which is higher series is planned. It is not revealed when "Classic +" will be released.

• 4th picture:

It is a moon picture taken with prototype NX 700mm telephoto lens.

• 5th picture:

Added features in NX11 from NX10.

• 6th picture:

Panorama shot can cover up to 180-degree.

It is special that the panorama shot can take vertical as well as horizontal shot.

More filters in Smart Filters.

• 8th picture:

GPS Module.

• 9th picture:

Lens line up. 10 lenses since NX system was out!!!

• 10th picture:

It is 18-200 lens. It is specially designed for capture movie clip. It can do auto-focus with linear motor during zoom is being changed. The size is about 50-200 lens.
Release date is expected in mid. May.

• 11th picture:

It is 16mm/f2.4. All exterior materials are metal. It is targeted in mid. July.

• 12th picture:

60mm Macro. It is NX's first lens with Ultra-sonic motor. Mid of August is targeted.

• 13th picture:

85mm/f1.4 lens. It also uses SSA (Ultra-sonic motor), too. The filter size is 67mm. The design will be changed a bit in the production model.

• 14th picture:

It is 16-80mm lens. It is planed it will be released in this year. Still it is in planning phase.
