lenses cost too much in Canada

This is ridiculous, I am looking at a 16-85mm, but B&H lists a USA lens at $619.95, and Henry's at $769.99, plus tax. Our dollar is nearly on par, so where's the missing $150. This puts me off on principal alone..

Anyone have recommendations for lens purchases in Canada? I bought a US 18-55 and 35-1.8 b/c they are inexpensive and I am not too worried, but if I was to pull the trigger the 16-85 would cost enough that I wouldn't want to risk my warranty.
