This came up a couple of weeks ago...someone said in a post that you could copy the .8bf file to the CS5 64 bit PlugIn folder and it would work; I tried, but couldn't get it to work, so emailed their customer service department and got this reply:

Thanks for your email.

Unfortunately, we're still unable to commit to a release date for the 64-bit version of Focus Magic. As you may or may not be aware from the information on our web site, our developers and resources are currently focused on another large project which has caused a delay in the development of the 64-bit version. It is still coming, but we just cannot give a date at this stage.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

If you would like to be added to our notification list re. the 64-bit release, please advise.

NOTE: You can install Photoshop CS5 as a both a 32-bit version and 64-bit version on your 64-bit operating system. Adobe give you that option during the CS5 setup. As for previous versions, they're all 32-bit anyway. When you install Focus Magic, the installer will 'hang' when searching for plug-ins, but the stand-alone will still install and work properly. Besides that, the plug-in should also work properly still -- but you need to manually copy the "FocusMagic.8bf" plug-in file from the "Focus Magic" program folder to the "Plug-Ins\Filters" folder for Photoshop.

Kind regards,
Acclaim Software Support
