The 3DS to use .MPO file format for stereo pictures

With so many devices now, able to take pictures, it's close to impossible for dpreview to discusss them all.
I own a wonderful FinePix REAL 3D W1 from Fujifilm and now I see the Nintendo 3DS is coming and was wondering if it would be a nice device to carry around.
Now that I learn that it will support the .MPO file format ( http://www.3dhandheldgaming.com/?p=301 ) I may go and buy my 1st gaming console. I wasn't impressed at 1st with the 3DS annoucement but the more I read on it, the more I'm curious to take a look at it.
Anyone else?
