2011 Canon Rebel got bigger - no Mirrorless Canon

With the insane sales of the mirrorless cameras in many countries people thought the next rebel will be smaller but canon did the opposite.

Here are the official dimensions

T2i 550D 129 x 98 x 62mm
T3i 600D 133 x 100 x 80mm

Seems like Canon wont release any mirrorless cameras anytime soon too.

Also 600D is the worst upgrade in the rebel lineup ever, 600D and 550D "almost" identical specs wise other than the Tilt LCD, previous rebel upgrades brought much more upgrades.

Sony already stole the #2 spot from Nikon in the UK, and in Asia Sony is #1 in many countries thanks to the mirrorless cameras popularity in these countries yet Canon does not want to knowledge the mirrorless market properly because they fear to enter a new market with 0% market share when they already own the majority of market share from the regular DSLR Cameras (Nikon releasing a mirrorless system very soon at least)

Sony Officially said NEX4/NEX6 is coming soon too, The cameras market will be very interesting in 2011 and 2012.
