Epson printers 6 ink cartridges vs 4 ink cartridges

Hi,

I am looking at replacing my current HP printer which currently jams a lot. (We would be using the printer for scrapbooking/ small prints 4x6, 5x7 and greeting cards. We also want to be able to copy and scan and print text documents hence a multifunction printer)

Two printers I am looking at are the Epson nx625 and the 725 artisan. Due to teh fact that the printer is going into a cabinet, I need a printer with a display on the front and the size needs to be compact. While the nx625 seems to be smaller, it uses 4 cartridges of color whereas the 725 uses 6 cartridges. I am hoping the 725 fits in the cabinet (I need to measure when I get home.)

Does the number of cartidges have an impact on quality or would both of these printers print good quality prints?
