Hello everyone. I own a VG-10 and am considering purchasing an NEX-5 to have a supplementary, wider shot for certain situations, but am concerned that the variable gain on the NEX-5 will make adjusting the brightness/exposure levels in post a nightmare.

Is there anyway to ensure that the Gain remains at ZERO, as I do on all shots with the VG-10?

I know how to use ND filters and lighting to achieve the results I want with the VG-10 (constant 1/60 shutter speed with aperture set at appropriate DoF), and would using the steps above be able to achieve a result that would allow two shots of the same event/location be used without a jarring change in color/brightness?
