Hello out there, i m new to this forum

i have a nex 5 and want to use it for video as well, and i m also not happy about the varying shutter speed and so on.. since the last firmwareupdate (was it called .3?) it seems to me that you can lock the shutter speed to an (of course unknown) number by pressing the shutter-knob for taking pictures while recording video. i wonder if someone could find out a routine to lock the shutter speed to 50fps , (for example by" open aperture 30cm next to a 60W light bulb, push record, overexpose to +2, lock shutterspeed, change apterture to F5.6 " or something like this) i have no possibility right now to see shutterspeed with any software i own..
thats just an idea though.......

cheers !
