Da 17-70 - better/quicker focusing with K5?

I'm soon to buy a K5 and wondered if people who also own the DA17-70 have seen any improvement in autofocusing since moving to the K5 - I find that the DA17-70 does struggle a little to lock focus in low contrast shots with my K20D - mainly at the tele end though
