60D - no AF adjustment - but no complaints - WHY?
Jan 23, 2011

Hi,

When 60D was released my main issue was that Canon did not include AF Micro adjustment. But I've really seen no complaints in this forum or other reviews. I have a Rebel XTi and my 17-55, 10-22, and 70-300IS were all calibrated by Canon service. All these lens are out of warranty so I can't see spending several hundred dollars to get them calibrated to a new body.

So my question for 60D users is: Have you found that lenses that needed microadjustment on other bodies focus sharply on the 60D? Have you just excepted no AF adjustment? Or have you had to have Canon service calibrate your body/lenses?

I've been impressed with the general liking everyone seems to have taken to the 60D. I know it lacks the sophisticated AF of the 7D but no one seems to complain about 60D AF like some do about 7D AF.
Thanks for your input.
