Portable HDD for direct SD copy

Does anyone know of a portable Hard disk drive with the smarts to copy the contents of a SD card. Looking for something i can take on vacation to load photos onto and not have to take a laptop.
Also, I am surprised the camera manufacturers do not support a USB connected HDD to copy the SD on to.
