Why take photos, if no one is around to look at them? If the world was ending, I'd be polishing off the last of that expensive bottle of bourbon I've been hoarding for the last couple of years.

The world has been coming to an end, ever since the first person thought of the concept. Since that time, this mantra has been taken up by anyone who is feeling insignifigant.

I actually believe it is but who want's to spend what's left convincing everyone else to "have a bad day now ya hear". Life goes on, until it doesn't.

And of course, which is the illusion/delusion? Significance or insignificance?

But, somehow, the world seems to survive. It has survived asteroid hits, massive climate change, multiple wars, plagues, floods, divorces, equivalence debates... whatever bad is happening today, something worse has already happened.

And yet, it continues to exist.

Actually, I believe that 2012 date is the end of the Mayan calendar. For them, the world did come to an end, around 400 years sooner than they thought it would.

Well the world will survive to spite us. The universe will dance on without our observation and not care a dribble. The end of the world is only our problem.

...oh, and I see by the lack of responses that I am right yet again.
