New iPad rumored to have 260 DPI screen. Ultimate portfolio viewer?

Latest rumors and some evidence found in various places seem to point that the new iPad will double the linear resolution of the old iPad with 2048x1536. Now I know it sounds ludicrous to many, but for now let's assume the evidence collected so far is real and the rumor is true. Would that make some of you to buy it just as a portfolio viewer? I didn't get the first one but the resolution alone, if it's true, will convince me to order it as soon as it becomes available.
