Snow Shoeing with FZ100

My wife and I went out for some snow shoeing yesterday afternoon and I thought I'd bring my FZ100 along for the trip. Big plus on the lightness, zoom and ease to carry around. On the negative I found out that after an hour in the cold the zoom didn't want to work. It pretty much would just stick which I believe is due to the lubrication in the motor freezing up. We still had a great time and I managed to capture the fun. After warming up the camera is back to working fine.
