D7000 and high ISO @ Singapore Zoos x 11 images.

Hi guys and gals,

Just returned from a whirlwind business/holiday trip to Singapore. We went to Sentosa, Universal Studios, Day Zoo, Night Zoo, Jurong Bird Park and did a few other tours around the city as well. Unfortunately, we only spent about half a day in the Day Zoo and Jurong Bird Park and as I was with my family, I couldn't really spend too much time waiting at each exhibit to get the best shots so, it was a bit of a quick grab session. The Day Zoo, Night Zoo and Bird Park are sensational and you could spend at least a day at each one. At the Day Zoo the exhibits are well done with very few cages and you are seperated by moats from the big cats etc. There are quite a few aviary type enclosures where you can enter and get right up close and personal with birds and lemurs, flying foxes, sloths, mouse deer, and many more. AT the Day Zoo, we had breakfast with the Orangutans which was good fun. I cannot recommend Singapore highly enough and the zoos in particular.
