Downsizing images in bulk- How would you?

We just bought a digital photoframe, and it's got a 2gb memory. Apparently it'll hold 4000 pictures if they are downsized to about 2megapixels, but I've got thousands of images to go through! So what would be the best way to batch downsize a few hundred images at once to 2mp?
Looking forward to any help you can give me!
