S95 softness - how is yours?

Hello,

Since getting my S95 a couple months back I keep feeling its photos are a little on the soft side. Even areas of sharp contrast at base ISO seem a little soft. I'm not sure if I'm just comparing it too closely with my Rebel or of it really is too soft. The RAW images need sharpening but still they seem softer than what I would expect.

Do any other S95 owners feel the same way or is your camera as sharp as you feel it should be?
