SIGMA 70:200 doesnt loves CANON EOS 7D
Jan 12, 2011

I´ve got the SIGMA 70-200 F/2.8 APO EX DG Macro. I bought this lens in July/2006 and I´ve been using it without problems in my old Canon 350D. It really works very fine.

Yesterday I bought a brand new Canon EOS 7D and I have a permanent failure in the AF system. Curiously if I use de APO DG EX 2x converter, the AF works perfectly (???)...

Solution seems easy. Rechip the lens.

I can't understand one thing:

If we bought a DG Series in past for not having troubles in future with Digital Cameras, why must pay now for a rechip?

Another one curiosity: DC Series of SIGMA 70:200, chipper & older than DG series, works perfectly in my Eos 7D....
