too soft and light colors in fz35/38
Jan 11, 2011

recently i upgraded my little Canon A720 to an FZ38..better image quality, much better specifications no doubt. My problem is that the colors, compared to the colors of a720 (exactly in the same modes i mean) differ a lot.
2 examples: under-exposure ,panasonic is just a bit grey where canon

shots are much darker and this doesnt help in having "artistic" or "atmosferic" shots.Even when ev=-2,panasonic produces just a little more grey shots, where canon's are almost black.

b.the same in white balance, specially in clouds mode. The softer grey of panasonic produces not so impressive clouds.

I thought maybe i had to change something in the display of panasonic. So i checked my monitor in 0..and i also tried to experiment with saturation, brightness etc.

Do i have to live with that and just darken each foto with some program or can i do anything?
Any help and tips?
