Agreed. And that was the OPs question (whether there is any substantial loss in resaving a JPG, say 2-3 times?). Recompressing 2-3 times does not produce visible changes in the image.

You go ahead and do it, since you evidently love to do things blindly.

An excellent proposal. I have the necessary hardware to produce high quality prints and access to a group of photography students to use as the jury. I will do it and report back here with the results.

Sorry, but what you have been showing me are what I would regard as blind-man's tests.
