Help deciding Nikon D7000 or Panasonic GH2

Hi Folks,

I know it is like comparing apples and oranges......but I would like some feedback regarding my possible choices.

I am looking forward to using my new camera for travel photos and for shots of family.

In the "old days" I had a SLR and limited my use due to expensive processing but enjoyed the various lens options and quality of photos. I was still at beginner level. Have since swithched to point and shoot. Currently using a panasonic DMC ZS3 but wish it had a viewfinder so looking to jump up to better camera.

I have a small hand for a woman and find the Nikon D7000 a little big and heavy but am wondering if I would be disappointed with the GH2. The price seems to be comparable for the two options. Wondering if carrying around a DSLR would be too heavy and lookiing for feedback from people that have tried both options of a m4/3 and DSLR systems.

I welcome any feedback or comments about the above options.
