I just learn to move on.

A55 is SLT, a half SLR + half RF type of camera.

This is not new, almost 10 years ago Olympus E10 already using this technology, at that time, SLR was not getting that wide spread.

I did play E-10 for near 2 yrs, love it.

I think that's a valid assumption - the A55 has to meet all A-mount AF physical requirement.
