question re Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II, paper paths

I'm pretty limited on space for printers, and have always had to use printers with front loading paper cassette because of where I need to set the printer on a shelf. I have my eye on the Pro9000 as I want a printer that is Windows 7 compatible (love my HP8450 but I have to use generic drivers since it's not Windows 7 compatible), but I see it is rear loading paper... I also note that description says it has a front feeder for heavy weight papers. Can someone who has one of these printers tell me if that front feeder only allows loading one piece of paper at a time or can you put a stack there and will it accommodate 4 x6 as that's what I print mostly.
Edit: Thanks for reading but I found the answer. Front path is for single sheet feed only.
