Polarizer filter?
Jan 5, 2011
|
Hi,
I have a friend going west (i.e to the U.S.) later this spring and I thought he will pick up lense for me thanks to the low price. (At least compared what it costs here. :))
The lens is a SAL 1635Z. Browsing on B&H page I saw under 'accessories' that there are some cheap polarizer filters (Tiffen).
Now to the question! Do you have any opinions (sure you do ;)) on regarding quality of such filters. Buying such cheap filter for that lense, is that "throwing pearls at swine". Should I go for a more expensive filter? Or is the lense that good it can handle low-quality filters? How big differences are there really between filters (In real life, not in tests)
Thanks for any answers.
Cheers
