I am having the same issue with the new 24-70 and the D7000. Had the issue as well with my previous body, a D80. I use it mostly for indoor action, so I hadn't really bothered about it. However, I am on a family trip in Arizona, and no matter how a adjusted the exposure, via the meter, the results were unacceptable. Very disappointing....

  1. A lens topic belongs in the lens forum , a D7000 topic belongs in the D7000 forum

  2. You haven't provided enough info for a useful response -- e.g. UV filter, flash used ("indoor action"), use of exp. comp and/or flash comp, flash mode used (if any), metering mode, indoor lighting (fluorescent? incandescent? HID?), etc. etc.

  3. This thread has been dormant for how long? (eyes rolling)
