First sunrise of 2011

Very cold and windy this morning in upper Michigan but I was determined to get the first sunrise of the year. With the wind gusts I had to hold the tripod to prevent it from blowing over. Well, at least it cleared the cobwebs from a bit to much rum at last nights New Year celebration!

I would have loved to spend more time taking photos but my fingers were froze and there will be warmer days to shoot! I envy you guys in those nice warm climates!
