A Christmas Fairy Tale

Dear reader,
It was a cold winter evening, not a soul would venture outside, not even those consumed by the fiery passion of photographic art.
Two enthusiastic photographers went out in the blizzard, one wielding camera and tripod with great courage, the other striving with bags and an umbrella to keep the D300 out of harm's way.
Snowed all day long and the park lanterns drew shadows and lights on the white blanket :
Later on, we had the strangest mirage : Santa was going through his name list to make sure no one's left without a present. He told us stories about times when he would remember all children names by heart, didn't need the reading glasses and winter was all year long. Brrr...
The snow was falling and I couldn't see two feet in front of me.... but the 50mm glass pierced through the snowfall and darkness. The Christmas tree wearing proudly the heavy garments of snow and light showed us the path :
By the end of the mystical and harsh journey, we became melancholic at the sight of the deserted children playground :
