I use a Hanvon GraphicPal tablet. Hanvon makes a whole range of tablets that compete with Wacom Bamboo/Graphire, Intuos and Cintiq tablets. They generally offermore 'bang for the buck' and the quality seems quite close. The product line is relatively new and probably not available in every market (in my country I found just a few online retailers).

From what I remember reading about the company, they use the same technology as Wacom (after its patent expired). My GraphicPal tablet (price EUR 65) certainly has a higher quality finish than the lower priced Wacom tablets.
