Buying d7000 in UK – are these stores any good?
Dec 28, 2010

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my d80 to a d7000 and I’ve come across 3 great prices for the d7000 (for the uk that is!) and wondered if they were OK to deal with, UK stock ect.

I have done a search on here but there are only a few posts where members say it is in stock at xyz

1) Procamerashop.co.uk - £920.52

Seems to have very good reviews from google check out. But does not clearly state its a uk product or mention a 2 year warranty

2) Elitegadgets - £924.32

Clearly states “We only sell Nikon UK stock with full 2 year warranty” but I can’t really find out much about them, no reviews on google checkout.

3) eshopbrokers – £919.20 + del

Again, excellent reviews on google checkout but doesn’t mention a 2 year warranty and it says its good are in stock in the uk, but not necessarily uk stock.

These places are almost £200 cheaper than the likes of jessops but I would like the camera to be covered by a uk warranty if anything should go wrong.

Would you advise using one of these companies or sticking with the more well known outlets? Do you have any other recommendations?

I am based in London if you wish to suggest a bricks and mortar store.

Thanks for the help.
