SX30 IS Burst Mode (Continuous Shooting)?
Dec 27, 2010

I recently bought a Panasonic DMC FZ45, just before the Canon SX30 IS became widely available.

I'm seriously wowed by the 35x zoom of the SX30 IS to the point I'm thinking of trading in the Panasonic (with it's 24x zoom) virtually months after I've bought it. The reviews I've read seem to show little difference between the cameras in terms of image quality (both certainly better than the DMC-FZ100). A switch to the SX30 IS would alllow me to get rid of a teleconvertor I've held onto for a few years with various cameras.

One thing that may make me keep the Panasonic is that it has a 3 Megapixel burst mode of 5 shots per second image priority, 10 shots per second speed priority.

Does the SX30 IS have anything similar in terms of a burst mode (possibly in the scene settings)?
