Micro / Macro Nikkor Lenses

I have a Nikkon D200 and I'm looking at purchasing a micro / macro lens, but I'm wondering about the DX / FX format issue. I like the AF-S 105 micro, but I gather its an FX lens. How does that impact pictures taken with a DX format dSLR like the D200? I'll probably upgrade my camera in the near future, and I'm also concerned about adapting my current set of DX lenses to an FX format camera. Do I need to worry about this?
